Agricultural Extension Programme Field Day
The Kisima/ CGA farmers training and field day was held on the 19th July 2018. The event was a great success with about 1,200 farmers in attendance and 30 exhibitors. Farmers came from Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Isiolo, Nyeri and Laikipia Counties. The farm demos were excellent due to the good rains in March.
Feedback from the exhibitors was positive and they were happy with the event preparation, organisation and setup, with some stating that the Kisima Farm Agri-info and Demo site is currently one of the best within the neighbouring counties.
The farmers feedback was also positive and many continued to visit the site after the field day.
